Vacuum Hold Down System
How it works
The Vacuum Hold Down System mounts directly to your spindle and forms a sealed vacuum zone around the cutting area.
As the spindle lowers, the foot applies direct downward pressure while suction is concentrated at the bit. Chips and debris are pulled into the hose at the source, and the material stays flat during the cut.
The system consists of a spindle-mounted adapter and a magnetic vacuum base. The base removes for quick tool changes.
Why the Vacuum Hold Down System Replaces a Dust Boot
Whereas a traditional dust boot uses a floating brush skirt that results in chips escaping and reduced suction intensity, the Vacuum Hold Down System applies clamp-free concentrated suction that gives you a clean cut with no debris every time.
This system concentrates suction at the spindle and adds active downward pressure at the cutting zone. It removes the need for top-mounted clamps inside the cutting area. You get chip collection and sheet support in one unit.

FAQ
- Do I still need clamps? No. When used with proper X and Y location, this system replaces top-mounted clamps inside the cutting area.
- Does it replace a dust boot? Yes. It captures chips at the spindle and applies controlled downward pressure for sheet machining.
- What hose fits? Standard 2.5 inch shop vacuum hose, friction fit.
- Can the base be removed for tool changes? Yes. The magnetic base removes while the adapter stays mounted.
